The Wailing (곡성) [2016]

A stranger shows up at a village. Since then, mysterious serial cases take place. The police concludes the cause as poisoning by wild mushroom, but a rumor points to the stranger as the culprit.

Police Officer Jong-Goo (Kwak Do-Won) begins to believe the rumor after meeting Moo-Myeong (Chun Woo-Hee). Jong-Goo’s daughter Hyo-Jin becomes sick with the same symptoms as the other victims. Jong-Goo calls for a shaman (Hwang Jung-Min).
